Agent Steve Bauer has worked in the insurance industry in California for over 30 years as an adjuster then agent.
After multiple decades of helping people with their insurance needs all over California Steve decided it was time to retire.
Following his retirement he was regularly contacted by his prior clients and others who asked him to come out of retirement because they were have trouble finding a new agent. One who would provide them with the same level of personalized service and advice they had become accustomed to over the many years from his office.
Initially these request were taken as a kind complement and he had no intention of coming out of retirement, assuming the requests would fade over time as they got connected with their new agent.
Instead the requests grew in frequency.
Not wanting to repeat what he had already done, the idea of founding a new office similar in some ways although different in others seemed like a wonderful challenge.
During his initial carrier Steve had always been a “captive” agent, meaning he could only provide one carrier’s products. The idea of becoming an “independent agent” and being able to offer products from multiple carriers seemed intriguing.
An office where the client’s needs came first and with California’s complex insurance environment be able offer them multiple options across multiple insurance carriers.
That is how Client 1st Insurance Agency was born.
